Policies and Information

Helmets are required for riders under the age of 18 years of age. All riders over the age of 18 must sign a consent form if they do not want to wear a helmet. We provide helmets for our riders.

No flip flops or sandals allowed. No exceptions. It is preferable that riders wear a boot or shoe with a heal, but we understand that not everyone has proper riding footwear. Sneakers and other closed toe footwear are acceptable.

For the safety of our guests and our horses, our current weight limit is 260lbs. There is one horse that is capable of carrying that weight at this time. The other horses have a weight limit of 225lbs. We understand that there are many riders who are above this weight, and we are working hard to find good mounts for larger riders. Please understand we do not judge anyone on their size and do not want to exclude persons of size, however due to the nature of our rides, the lack of riding experience for most of our customers, and the stature of our horses, we must take our horses's health and well being as our top priority. We do have the right to refuse service if we believe a customer's weight is above what our horses can safely carry. We hope you understand. 

As we do haul our horses to each riding location and this requires advanced planning, we require 48 hour notice of cancellation in order offer full refunds. If you must cancel the ride less than 48  hours in advance the ride deposit is non refundable.

We reserve the right to cancel rides due to weather such as extreme heat or unsafe riding conditions. If we must cancel your scheduled ride a full refund will be issued. 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your ride time so we can fit you with a riding helmet (if applicable), go over safety, let you meet the horses you'll be riding, and get you saddled up and stirrups adjusted. We are happy to answer any questions you may have before the ride.
